X-Men III. Have been waitin to see this forever...
The Last Stand,
Nice name. A li'l pessimistic... but in a really cool way.
You know, somethin like "The last defense" Or "The last resort". Names that signify gloom, darkness and despair, but always in such an inspiring way.
Scott's death does bother me though...
I mean, come on! Okay, I understand they wanted to kill him, but they could have at least given him a decent death! He's Scott Summers for God's sake. Cyclops. You don't jus kill him off and then utter 3 sentences bout his death in the entire movie. Funnily enough, wolverine seems to be the only one affected or bothered by the fact that Scott's dead!
*sigh*
Cyclops used to be my favorite character in the series... but I think I grew out of that...
Wolverine and Storm are awesome! They're great co-leaders. They balance each other out, kinda like Yin and Yang. Though with both of them havin their occasional temperamental outbursts, A third head like Jean, or even better Scott would have been perfect... except well, they're both dead. And so is Charles, which is why there's so much of an issue anyway. Hmm, if they brought Kurt back, he'd make a nice third head. He'd be the one who'd comfort the lost ones... I mean, Storm's nice, but she can be quite scary. And Logan... well, He has his own ways. Effective, yes. But inviting? I think not.
Anyway, Wolverine is really cool. His dialogues are the best and he seems most like a real mutant (along with storm, Bobby, Magneto, Mystique and Charles). Plus, he's adorable. I love the scene in which Hank tells him he's been "fighting for human rights before you had claws boy!!!".
Lol, Logan blinks and says "Did he jus' call me boy?"
*laughs*
Oh but Rogue!!!
She really disappointed me by going for the "cure"... I mean, really. I always liked her. She was intelligent and independent and not all that immature. But here, she acted like a jealous high school girl.... *pauses* *sighs* Which she has a right to act like, coz thats what she is. *sad smile* I guess when there's a lot to live up to and a lot to expect, you kinda forget reality...
Anyway, this is enough babble for now. I'll try writin somethin that makes a li'l more sense next time.
